Charlie Sheen can keep his skanky porn star goddesses. Jennifer Lopez? She's what I envisage a goddess to be... the woman is a stunner! Sure, her relevance in the music industry had waned in recent years (as had her draw at the box office), but the power of the Idol franchise has seen her back in the spotlight with a weekly audience of 20 million plus that have sent J.Lo straight into the top 10 of the US Billboard Hot 100, the Australian ARIA charts and all the way to #1 in Finland. You go Finland. The song behind it all is of course 'On The Floor.' Admittedly, Pitbull does nothing for me, nor does Lopez telling us that it's, "a new generation of party people. Let me introduce you to my party people in the club." Don't do that. Ever. However, the rest of what we get forms quite a good dance song, a guaranteed pop smash and a definite club mainstay for 2011. Welcome back J.Lo.
