The Grates are one of my favourite bands to see live, mostly due to the crazy antics and infectious enthusiasm of lead singer, Patience Hodgson. Since they're reportedly heading back into the studio to record their third album with hopes of a 2011 release, you'll soon get a chance to see just how good they are live for yourself (if you, uh, haven't already)! With Powderfinger out of the game, will this crazy three-piece step up to become Brisbane's number one band?
