Avril Lavigne - What The Hell

Avril goes Gaga? Not quite, thankfully, but the former pop-punk princess is clearly embracing the electro trend on new single, 'What The Hell.' The song blends Avril's standard 'I can't and I won't but I don't and I won't' carefree 'tude and pop-rock roots with your basic electro-pop backing track, making it sound similar to one of Pink's party songs (think 'So What' or 'Raise Your Glass'). Not that there's anything wrong with that and while Pink's out of the game being pregnant and sh*t, Avril can claim that rabid, angry and slightly scary (when in a mob) fanbase all for herself.

What do you think of 'What The Hell?' Will it see Avril return to the top of the charts, like previous #1 single, 'Girlfriend?'
