It begins! It's My Kind of Scene is proud to bring you its 90s countdown, highlighting 200 songs that defined a decade. Of course, this is all highly subjective, so I'd love to hear your thoughts on the songs I've picked and feel free to let me know what YOU think is missing. #200 - Baby Got Back (1992)

I never realised how lame the music video was for 'Breakfast at Tiffany's. So many beautiful hairstyles. Still it's a great break-up song and very, very 90s pop-rock.

Amazing song, amazing video. The Beastie Boys were at their creative best in the 90s and 'Intergalactic' is a prime example of that.

You couldn't escape 'Gansta's Paradise' when it came out mid-95 promoting the film Dangerous Minds. It went to #1 in virtually every country in the world and ended up topping the year-end charts in Australia and the USA.

#194 - Canned Heat (1999)

If you've seen Napoleon Dynamite then it's pretty hard to not think of the amazing dance scene when listening to 'Canned Heat.' Jamiroquai, much like the Beastie Boys, were at their best during the 90s, consistently putting out fun dance tracks with perfect music videos.

Rage Against the Machine were to the 90s as System of A Down were to the noughties (I really hate that expression); the go-to band for politically charged, thoughtful metal. You'll never see drunk thirty-somethings mosh harder to a song at dirty pubs than 'Guerilla Radio.'
