It's hard to believe that Van Morrison never had a #1 single in the UK or US. One of the greatest songwriters in the history of music, with classic songs like 'Moondance,' 'Brown Eyed Girl,' 'Brightside of the Road,' 'Someone Like You' and 'Have I Told You Lately' and none of them went to the top of the charts. I'm sure that's not important to Mr. Morrison, but it comes as quite a surprise to me. Those Rage Against the X-Factor kids should use a Van Morrison song to steal the Christmas #1 away from Simon Cowell in the UK! That would be sweet...
