"In my Calee-for-nya King Be...." Oops. Wrong song. Beyonce trades a ballad for a slow-jam as 'Best Thing I Never Had' has been announced as the official second single for 4, replacing the previously announced '1+1.' Her new track is definitely a step in the right direction as it has a more immediate impact than '1+1' and doesn't make you bang your head against the wall (in a bad way) like 'Run The World (Girls).' Still, you can't help but think that 'Best Thing I Never Had' would have been better as a third or fourth single. Surely Queen B (or is it King B now?) must have something with a little more SHAZAM up her sleeve to build anticipation before the album's release at the end of the month. Cause for concern? Slightly rising. Ring the alarm? Not quite yet.
