This year has come and gone far too quickly. When you say that out loud, someone is bound to say, "that's what happens when you get older." I prefer subscribing to the theory 'time flies when you're having fun' and in 2012, there was much fun to be had. Every week we've been slapped in the face with incredible albums and songs that we will now be pitting against each other for our end of year 'best of' countdowns. Starting tomorrow, we kick off the Top 112 Songs of 2012 countdown! What song will make it all the way to the top? No. It is not 'Gangnam Style.' Or is it? No. It's been an incredibly hard list to compile this year, with so many tracks narrowly missing out on making it in. So today, we honour twenty of those songs. Because they are awesome.
